Mentor Eligibility

In order to utilize TSBEC's Entrepreneur Mentoring Program, all mentees need to have completed the following:

Attended at least two of TSBEC's Business Webinars and/or Online Training Modules
Have a completed Business Plan
Have met with a TSBEC small business advisor at least once

If you are a client of the City of Toronto's Self-Employment Development Program, you are only required to have completed your Business Plan.

If No, in order to use the TSBEC Entrepreneur Mentoring program, you must attend at least two business webinars and/or online training modules. Please visit Business Webinars & Training for a full catalogue of webinars and modules available.

Have you met with a TSBEC Small Business Advisor:

If No, in order to use the TSBEC Entrepreneur Mentoring Program, you need to have met with a TSBEC Small Business Advisor to review your business plan. Please learn more about our free consultation service here.

In order to use the TSBEC Entrepreneur Mentoring program, you need to have completed a business plan. If you would like to request a Business Plan template from TSBEC, please email smallbusiness@toronto.ca or visit our in-person centres. Hours and locations are available here

If you have answered yes to all of the above questions, a TSBEC team member will be in touch to get you set-up with a mentor.
